Swan Princess is an animated film based off of the story of “Swan Lake”. It was recommended to me by a 6 year old girl, and I was surprised that it was a decent movie. It was a fun movie. It didn’t measure up to some of Disney’s princess flicks, and a few of its musical numbers were tedious and out of place. The story’s message only scratched the surface of what it could have been, but it was a kids movie, and I suppose you can’t get terribly deep with kids before you lose them. On its good side, it had humor,  sweet  fairy tale romance, and it was clean. With a beautiful princess, and handsome prince, and a group of cute and witty animals, this movie certainly will appeal to younger children, especially girls.
